Wild-caught out of the Hawkes Bay and up and down the East Coast, tarakihi fillets are ideal for pan-frying, baking, or gently steaming. Its delicate texture absorbs flavour well, making it a great match for simple seasonings, herbs, and citrus.
Naturally high in protein and a good source of iodine, tarakihi is a nutritious option for light meals. Serve with greens and a squeeze of lemon, or pair with a soft Chardonnay for an easy, balanced dish.

Our fish fillets are hand cut to order by highly skilled filleters. We don’t use machinery and we never cut fish in bulk for later use. From the moment our fish is landed, it’s handled and stored with care - and only processed once your order is confirmed, guaranteeing maximum freshness.
Our fillets are available in pack sizes of 500g and 1KG. Once we cut your fish, we’ll vacuum pack it to preserve freshness.
