A unique New Zealand delicacy from our freshwater rivers. This eel is expertly prepared — headed, gutted and butterfly cut — making it easy to cook and serve. Eel has a rich, naturally oily flesh that becomes tender and flavourful when grilled, roasted or cooked on the BBQ. Delicious simply seasoned and served with fresh herbs, lemon or a light glaze.
